Greece do not have an offical Au Pair Program

  • Advertisments appear in the Athens News, usually placed by families in the wealthy suburbs of Athens.
  • The Agency Nine Muses accepts postal applictions from young Europeans and American women and also place candidates after arrival in Athens.
  • The Athenian Nanny Agency keep detailed dossiers on vacancies, most of which tend to be for experienced nannies though there are some for au pairs.
  • Most families ask their live-in staff to work longer hours and reward them accordingly.
  • For the limited number of summer positions available applications should be made in April.
