CZECH REPUBLIC
The Czech Republic was formed in 1993 when the Czechoslovak Federal Republic split into two independent states. The Czech Republic is now a Member of the European Union since 2004, and also a member of NATO.
The Czech Republic is famous for Bohemian or Moravian folklore; for literature, festivals, theatre, songs, music, dancing games and , last but not least children's folklore. Customs are handed down from generation to generation.
The capital city of the Czech Republic if Prague, a city located on the Vitava River in the Prague Basin, a crossroads of the trade paths down the centuries. Prague is noted for its myriad of bridges, cathedrals, domed churches and is known as a romatic and cultural city. The poet Jaroslav Siefert was awarded a Nobel Prize in 1984.
Citizens of the Czech Republic can now travel to any other country within the European Union as Au Pairs.
Au Pairs from the Czech Republic who wish to travel further, to any country outside the European Union, it will be an requirement that they have the appropriate visa and documentaion for presentation to the host country.
